How to make a pyramid // Kids art tutorial. How to make a pyramid // Kids art tutorial
To craft your own pyramid, you will need:
- 5 same sized squares of cardboard
- PVA glue
- Paint and decorations
(...scissors and a paint brush)
Leave one square for the base and cut the other four into triangles for the sides of the pyramid. Check that the down side of the triangles are the same size as a side of the square, to make an even pyramid.
Paint and decorate the sides. Once the paint has dried, cut out stripes of paper and glue them on the inside of the triangles to stabilise it, over the edges so they stick together nicely. Leave one side unglued, so you can open and shut the pyramid.
You can cut out a small piece of paper and glue on the door, as a handle - it will make it easier to open and shut.
For the mummies we used wooden spoons as a base, and glued on tissue paper around it.
Have fun! :) xx
